Fall under Timber’s fall
Inspired by the landscape transformation of The National Forest, Timber is a weekend camping festival celebrating the social, economic, cultural and environmental impacts of trees and forests on our lives. For a weekend we come together to be inspired by artists and environmentalists to reimagine our relationship with the natural world.
Location
Timber takes place at Feanedock, a 70 acre woodland site on the Leicestershire/Derbyshire border and part of the forest in the making at the heart of the National Forest, near Ashby de la Zouch.
Festival address for all ticket holders is: Hanging Hill Farm, Rawdon Road, Moira, Swadlincote, DE12 6DH.
Music, art, ideas
A range of artists and artforms have featured at Timber from Luke Jerram’s Museum of the Moon, to Chris Bullzini’s highwire spectacles, This Is The Kit and Penguin Cafe. Learn woodcraft, see incredible street theatre, dance all night between the trees and hear from the best authors and speakers.
Supported by the National Forest, Arts Council England, Without Walls and North West Leicestershire County Council.
