Wild Rumpus have spent six incredible years producing The Lanterns at Chester Zoo. As this chapter closes, we’re celebrating this wonderful project and partnership, and reflecting on the beautifully immersive, interactive trail that audience members experienced.

Part giant periscope, part ridiculous ear trumpet, our pavilions across nine National Trust properties invited families to observe nature in new ways.

Inspired by the Robert Macfarlane & Jackie Morris book the Lost Words, we invited families to lose themselves in the wonder of literature and the natural world.

In Spring 2022 some mysterious Eggs appeared in Middlesbrough town centre, they led families to the Dorman Museum where they were immersed in a theatrical game.
